Description Information Reviews
Rare, low-serial (3929) 40-watt bookshelf amplifier costing more than $1,000 in today's money. The vintage 1977 A-401 features powerful, crisp clear response to 80kHz. Accepts mag phono, tuner, aux input and tape deck with monitor and output. Updated with all new polarized caps and integrated passwordless Bluetooth 4.2 (BT). BT shares the rear AUX input. To connect, switch front input to AUX then pair your device with DROK_BT. BT takes persistent precedence until disconnected or unpaired. Detailed instructions included. Of historical note, the A-401 did not include power-on speaker muting; a novel timer subdues but may not completely eliminate the speaker noise heard during power on.READ: Listing is for modified vintage electronics; expect performance and physical condition as such. Breached anti-tamper seal(s) void refundability. Sale subject to cancelation due to buyer feedback quality and quantity. Pictures part of description. Bag shown not included.
