For auction is a very nice, vintage and original Heathkit model AA151 tube stereo amplifier. (with tubes included) Item is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are an integral part of this description. Please utilize ZOOM for any extra assistance viewing pictures. Item is in excellent overall condition considering it's age and item does show some wear/age. Please review all nineteen clear pictures as they are an important part of this description. It is evident that the original owner looked after his/her vintage equipment and/or stored it properly. All parts including the matching knobs, transformers, line cord/plug, matching feet, cover, etc. are original and in very nice, period condition. Item is free from any loose particles inside/outside it's original metal cover, chassis, bottom cover, etc. Item also is free from any non original drilled holes, modifications, etc. The original top and bottom cover(s) are in fine condition considering their age; please specifically note the uniformity of the exterior Heathkit factory material per the top cover. Item has an excellent, all original front panel too; please utilize ZOOM to note all Heathkit factory verbiage is legible. All matching/original knobs are intact and in great condition. Knobs do turn/switch. Picture eight displays this item's original, nicely intact factory label for this Heathkit AA151 tube stereo amplifier. Please note the very fine condition inside this unit. Please see the multiple, clear pictures of this amplifier inside... top and bottom. The top and bottom side of the original chassis is in fantastic original condition. All parts including the matching output transformers, power transformer, tube sockets, line cord/plug, etc. are original as displayed. All tubes portrayed in pictures four and eleven are included as found with this amplifier. There is one Mullard Sylvania GZ34 5AR4 tube, two matching Mullard 6EU7 tubes, etc. Picture four demonstrates tubes found with this amplifier lit up during this unit's brief testing. Otherwise, tubes included as found and not have been individually tested. This amplifier as a whole was briefly tested with a variac and does power on. (works*) Please review pictures three and four to note this item during brief testing. (works*) No other testing was done. The back panel of this item is also original and includes all intact, terminal strips, connections, etc. The verbiage throughout the back side of this amplifier is also in very good shape. Item again was found with both it's original top/bottom metal covers, the last three pictures present great views of each. Most cover screws and/or hardware is original, some is not. These Heathkit AA151 stereo amplifier's are workhorses and solid when properly cared for. This unit surely has potential to be a great candidate for your period Heathkit audio collection. These Heathkit tube amplifiers also have a few mods out there for DIYing and/or your expert restoration(s).
