These knives have exceptionally fine main bevels of 10 to 12 degrees. Only the very edges are given micro bevels. This not only allows the knife to slice through the wood with incredible ease, but also makes for quick sharpening because it is only the micro bevel that is honed. The curved blades are edged on both edges, so they can be used with pushing and pulling strokes without needing to change positions.
